The name Triose (pronounced Try-ohs) is broadly based on the idea of ‘three’, since this destination at Lonavala offers three main areas of Mix of food, stay and leisure.
This idea of three is also prevalent in the architectural fabric of our first building (of three), which is a medley of Triangular Planar Surfaces. Furthermore, the building is comprised of three volumes which emanate from a central circulation spine that interconnects them. The essence of the venture is embodied in the contemporary and iconic architectural language and brand identity of the One-Stop Destination. The 20th IIA (Indian Institute of Architects) award 2009 for Excellence in Architecture had been given to Architect Sanjay Puri for Public Category Project for our plaza amongst many other awards won by us.
Triose Boutique Hotel is opposite the Lonavala Lake. It comprises of three buildings viz. Triose Plaza, Villa and Hotel each one being unique. Triose Plaza offers multiple options of food and beverage, including a lounge bar, restaurants etc. It also has a three-screen multiplex, game zones amongst other avenues of recreation and leisure. Triose Villa and Hotel have 37 luxuriously furnished rooms, in 6 categories, with sprawling views of the Lonavala Lake or Agricultural Land. Lonavala is about 64 kilometres west of modern-day Pune city and 96 kilometres from the city of Mumbai. It is known for its production of the hard candy chikki and a major stop on the railway line connecting Mumbai and Pune.
Lonavla and Khandala are twin hill stations 622 metres (2,041 ft) above sea level, in the Sahyadri ranges that demarcate the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan coast. The hill stations sprawl over an approximate area of 38 square kilometres (15 square miles). Tourism peaks during the monsoon season.
